The future of robots will be a question of how fast we will attain Artificial super
intelligence, which is a term that refers to the highest level of Artificial intelligence
where computers will be super smart even than us humans, because of the fact that
they are electrical, so they will have the advantages: Speed of processing, a large
Memory, ... etc. Now we are beginning to reach the medium level of AI (artificial
general intelligence) where computers are starting to become as intelligent as some
humans, and there are some companies that have succeeded in making that happen.
The market of AI is growing exponentially worldwide which is a reason that is making
robots being more and more intelligent day by day.

Robots of the future will have substantial computer vision techniques that can give
them a huge ability of sensing and visualizing the external environment around them.
When citing these various advantages about robots of the future, one may think that
it is a kind of magic and that expected perfection about robots of the future will
never happen, but when one considers the subject from a standpoint of scientific
demonstration, and what research talks and logically predicts, the idea will start
to be clear on how truly efficient robots of the future will become. On that basis,
one of the technologies that will improve robots is quantum computers, they are
different from binary digital electronic computers based on transistors ; such super
computers will enhance the performance of technological systems including robots,
and they will overcome several challenges that are now found in the field of robotics
considering improving the Accuracy of vision systems, resolution and range of the
sensors (the working distance), Safety issues, Processing time,... etc.
Besides some gaps that are found within the robotics systems from vibrations, camera
movements, Hardware and software integration with other systems, to overcome that
Scientists are working on sophisticated materials and systems that respond to robots’
optimal constraints enabling their action to be fast, accurate, and with performant
workmanship.
Human-robot collaboration aspect is a new technology that’s known in the field of
robotics and will enhance the future of robots. It’s a kind of technology that permits
robots to work hand in hand with humans, it doesn’t mean that in the factory,
robots and humans work in different production lines or work on different tasks,
however it means that both of them work together to accomplish hard tasks hand
in hand due to high computer vision abilities that the robot will have which will
make it know what the human worker has completed and what he has not so that it
realizes the subsequent order to be done. The key challenge in a technology like this
that has already began being implemented is to provide such systems with a large
amount of data that is connected to efficient microprocessors. Technologies like the
cloud computing and internet of things are key elements that will solve complicated
challenges found on these robots that work on Mega amount of data (very large
data), that can be either hard to collect and acquis or to be processed.

The operations of factories now are being done within systems that involve the
combination of automation machines (or robots) and humans, however in the
factory of the future, all operations will be accomplished by autonomous robots
that principally work on visual feedback to move around the working space avoiding
obstacles, and that will most be a result of the advancement of the applications of
artificial intelligence in robotics systems.
